How it works
Build the search profile
The platform uses merchant identity signals (legal name, DBA, director names, contact details, domain artifacts) to construct targeted open-web queries.
Sweep the open web
A scheduled run executes the query set against the public web. Each discovered URL is recorded with the query that found it and a page snippet for context.
Route through the workflow
Each URL enters a status workflow: New, Reviewing, Confirmed, Dismissed, Monitoring. Confirmed URLs are pulled into continuous monitoring. Dismissed URLs are recorded with analyst rationale.

Signals, not guesses
Queries are built from structured merchant data: the legal name, trading names, director identities, and declared domain artifacts. This is not a generic domain search. It is a targeted sweep of signals that connect real-world identity to live URLs.
Status workflow for every URL
Every discovered URL moves through a status flow: New → Reviewing → Confirmed or Dismissed → Monitoring. Confirmed URLs are automatically pulled into the monitoring pipeline. Dismissed URLs record the analyst rationale so the next run doesn't raise them again.
Catches transaction laundering setups
Transaction laundering relies on the acquirer seeing only the clean declared site. Entity Discovery finds the off-book front (the shadow store, the affiliate funnel, the category that was never underwritten) and raises it before the scheme or the merchant's bank does.
Feeds straight into monitoring
Confirmed URLs do not sit in a spreadsheet. They become part of the merchant's active monitoring scope, inherit the merchant's scan cadence, and generate the same drift, pinned-page, and classification evidence as the declared site.

- Discovery runs on a configurable cadence per merchant risk tier. High-risk merchants can be swept weekly; standard merchants monthly or on trigger. Every run records what it found, what was new, and how many alerts it raised.
- What does the analyst actually do with a discovered URL?
- The analyst reviews the URL with the query that found it and the page snippet, opens the site if needed, and sets the status. Confirmed URLs become part of active monitoring. Dismissed URLs are recorded with a reason so they don't re-surface next run.
- Can you add an already-known URL to monitoring directly?
- Yes. Entity Discovery is the sweep that catches unknown properties, but the merchant file also accepts manually added URLs so that analysts can pre-populate monitoring with known secondary sites.
- How does this relate to transaction laundering detection?
